I've finally managed to finish the interior so here's a sneaky pic of it, now I can move onto the exterior. I enjoyed that!
A full description of how I did it will feature on The Modelling News very soon
Hi and welcome to my small corner of the internet and here you will find a variety of models that mainly comprises armour, aircraft and figures. I'll be adding pics of current projects and older stuff plus models that have appeared in a couple of magazines, Model Military International and Military Miniatures in Review. Thank you for stopping by and taking an interest in my work.

Takom 1/35 Bergepanther Ausf. A
I've finished painting the interior with only a small amount of touching up to do where there is some dark yellow overspray. I will weather the interior to some degree as you won't see most of it but I felt it important to show readers of the article I am preparing for The Modelling News. By the way here is the the link to the in-box review;
The Modelling News
The build will be split into 3 parts to save you all from falling asleep, starting with the interior as part 1. The exterior will be part 2 and final finishing will be part 3.
Anyway here's what the basic interior now looks like after some paint;
After weathering the interior I will be able to finally close it all up and progress to the exterior.

Takom 1/35 Bergepanther Ausf. A
Construction of the interior is nearly done, all I have to add are some cables for the battery and instrument panel on the transmission. I have built it in a way that makes it easier to paint which will be described in part 1 of the build review for The Modelling News but here's a couple of pics that shows where I am so far;
Fit of parts so far has been very good considering the complexity. Impressed!

Takom 1/35 Bergepanther Ausf. A
I received this kit direct from Takom as a review sample for The Modelling News and the full build will be there including an in-box review but I'll be posting the odd pic as a teaser during the build.
What I can say is that the fit of the interior parts so far is excellent although I'm deviating from the instructions to accomodate the painting required. If it was a single colour it wouldn't be an issue but the transmission and engine are dark grey, the hull sides are red primer with the exterior colour half-way up so masking will be interesting.
Anyway here's where I've got to at the moment;
I've altered a couple of bits so that I can break it down into sub-assemblies to help with painting the interior. I'l be adding some cables to help make the interior look a bit more busy although I have to say that detail-wise it is pretty good.

E-75 tank destroyer finished
That's another one off the shelf done, Trumpeters' 1/35 E-75 chassis and Paper Panzer Productions 'Eber' tank destroyer conversion. The wheels and exhausts were also from PPP and the tracks are by Hobbyboss as the Trumpeter 'rubber band' ones supplied in the kit are pretty awful.
The idea behind the mismatched armour panels over the engine grills is that they are in the process of being painted whenever the crew are resting. I like to have some primer red somewhere on a 'what-if' but not all over a complete vehicle
Looking at it now after taking the pictures the exhausts look too new and I may come back to it at a later time however I have a date with a Takom 1/35 Bergepanther.
